Aims and philosophy
Gretton's positive approach and the value it places on treating each pupil as an individual means that whatever a child’s past experience of education, they can enjoy learning again at Gretton.
The highly trained academic, care and therapy teams create an atmosphere of calm and purpose where pupils can learn and develop with increasing confidence and success.
Set in 9 acres with its own forest school, astroturf pitch and play areas, Gretton encourages its pupils to play, work and live alongside each other as one happy and united community. Pupils enthusiastically take part in drama and music productions and work together to represent the school in team sports.
The atmosphere is supportive and inclusive and as pupils get older they increasingly have more independence with their studies and the opportunity to board.
The school also has an Upper School campus at The Rectory, Gretton School, 65 High St, Girton, Cambridge, CB3 0QD.
