Special needs catered for
Deaf/Hearing Impairment, Language and Communication Disorders, pupils with a range of Learning Difficulties and/or a variety of syndromes, Dual/Multi-Sensory Impairment.
Specialist facilities
Audiology testing chamber, sensory room, sports facilities (including swimming pool with hoists), acoustically treated classrooms, Soundfield systems for hearing aid users, disabled access, fully equipped and secure residential units.
Support services provided
Educational Audiology, Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Ophthalmology, Residential Accommodation.

Offer a Transition project, Life Skills programme and Future Focus Employability Service to help young people to access further education and employment.

Donaldson’s offers an environment of inclusive communication, valuing all methods of communication equally. We provide a bilingual language environment with both English and British Sign Language (BSL) given equal status.
Donaldson’s promotes a ‘Curriculum for Excellence’. Our curricular framework supports all children and young people from 2½ to 19 years to develop as successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors, ready to play a full part in society, both now and in the future.
