Home school links
The school works to manage transition to a number of local FE providers, depending on the home address of the pupil. The curriculum is also supported by a range of local Alternative Provisions.
General environment
The school is located on an open site on the grounds of Wrest Park. Classrooms and shared spaces are decorated and furnished to minimise sensory overload.
Aims and philosophy
Our aspirations are that pupils will leave Esland Bedford School with a range of academic qualifications and social skills that will stay with them throughout their adult life. Pupil progress in these areas will form the foundation of future success in their employment, their independence and will enable them to become effective members of their local communities.
