Mountfield Heath School
Special needs catered for
• Pupils will be aged between 5 and 11 years.
• All pupils will have an Education, Health and Care Plan.
• Pupils may have learning difficulties and/or low attainment that are associated with their SEMH/ASC needs.
• Pupils may have specific learning difficulties associated with ASC, a range of complex learning and communication needs and additional needs such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia.
• Pupils may be admitted on the basis of their need for therapeutic support.
Specialist facilities
At the School we offer a flexible, personalised, engaging curriculum placing a strong focus on the social and emotional aspects of learning. At Mountfield Heath, Therapeutic intervention is seen as part of the individual pupil’s whole learning experience and as such it is as integrated as fully as possible and appropriate, within the educational setting.
Support services provided
A wellbeing team providing therapeutic support. This includes counselling, Speech and Language therapy, Occupational therapy and specific Autism support.
General environment
General environment Mountfield Heath School is set in a spacious site with designated spaces for outdoor learning and large classrooms.
The school is newly refurbished and all learning spaces are bright and airy with high specification IT resources. The school has designated therapeutic areas and plenty of space for creative and experiential learning to take place.

Mountfield Heath School (MHS) aims to meet the social, emotional and educational needs of our pupils and aspire to provide opportunities that are needed to develop their full potential. We ensure that we develop children’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural understanding.
