Longdon Park School
Special needs catered for
The school provides specialist education for young people aged 7 to 18, including children in care, who have a range of complex behavioural, communication and social difficulties associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Specialist facilities
The school offers an outstanding therapeutic, supportive learning environment where our young people accept responsibility for their actions, make positive decisions and display pro‐social behaviour.
Support services provided
We provide access to professional services to the young people in our school to help support their wider development. This includes onsite Speech and Language and Occupational Health practitioners. These practitioners develop personalised plans that fit to the needs of our young people.
General environment
It’s a safe space where our children can explore, play, enjoy sports and take part in a wide variety of outdoor learning opportunities – which are an important element of the curriculum here at Longdon Park. We also love to take our children off site to experience a wide range of activities and get involved in community life.
Aims and philosophy
Our Vision:
To provide the opportunity for students to learn together, progress together and succeed together in a nurturing environment where their personalised needs are met. Our educational environment will enable young people to achieve their aspirations socially, emotionally and academically.
