Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Associated Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Specialist facilities
- Outdoor classroom supporting the “Rooted Learning Curriculum”. Spaces include cycle track, sunken trampoline, and access to activities like swimming, horse riding, and Cycle Derby.

Support is delivered by a multi-disciplinary team through individual sessions, small groups, with therapy integrated into the school day.

- Situated in Mackworth, Derby, with proximity to both Derby city and nearby rural green spaces for a balanced environment
- The campus includes a registered children’s home on-site, providing 38 - 52 week residential placements alongside the school in the same building
Aims and philosophy
The school’s aims are to ensure pupils are happy, safe, active members of the school and wider community. Pupils are supported in developing self-care skills and independent living skills in order to live a rich a fulfilling life.
